The Rose dress - Le camélia rose

Here is my version of the Rose dress pattern by pattern maker Le Camelia Rose. I had fallen in love with this pattern when it was launched, and my sister offered it to me as a birthday present a couple of years ago. But I never got around to making it until now. I wore it for a wedding brunch for which the dress code was « casual chic – white attire ».

I love everything about this pattern: the heart shaped neckline, the ruffles on the straps, the buttons on the back and the shape, flow and hang of the skirt…

I made a few changes compared to the original pattern: I shortened the straps and the length of the skirt. I also used a lace ribbon instead of the straps and I lined the skirt as this fabric is see-through.
